How to Reach Krishna Valley

By Car

Krishna valley is conveniently accessible by road from several nearby cities.
Below are the details :

From Melbourne:

    • Take the Princes Highway (M1) out of Melbourne toward Geelong.
    • Continue on the highway bypassing Geelong, following signs toward Colac / Winchelsea.
    • In Winchelsea, turn left onto Winchelsea-Deans Marsh Rd (C151).
    • Approximately 12.5 km down this road the Krishna Valley property is on the left.
    • Follow property signs to the retreat.

From Geelong / Surf Coast:

    • Drive west toward Winchelsea on rural roads, then follow Winchelsea-Deans Marsh Rd (C151) to the property.
    • The rural roads are scenic but often require a car/taxi as there’s limited direct public transit. (General local knowledge.)

*Adequate parking is available at Krishna Valley.
Use GPS navigation by entering “Krishna Valley, Otway” for precise direction.

By Train

Nearest Train Station:
Winchelsea Railway Station (on the V/Line Warrnambool Line) — a regional train route from Melbourne Southern Cross → Geelong → Winchelsea.

    • Train travel time from Melbourne to Winchelsea is about 1.5–2 hrs on V/Lineregional services.
    • From Winchelsea Station, the retreat is ~12.5 km by road.

*No direct airport shuttle/transfer is provided by Krishna Valley — guests are advised to plan ground transport in advance

By Flight

Closest Airports:

  • Melbourne Airport (MEL) — about ~100–110 km from Krishna Valley.
      • After arriving, continue by car taxi or train toward Winchelsea Station, then local transfer to the retreat.
  • Avalon Airport (AVV) — about ~55–60 km from the retreat (a closer regional option).
      • From Avalon, take public transport or taxi toward Winchelsea, then local transfer.

By Bus

  • There are coach and regional bus services that run through rural areas near Bambra/Deans Marsh, including lines like Bus 101, COACH (Warrnambool – Melbourne, Geelong – Apollo Bay) that stop along rural and Great Ocean Road routes.
  • Nearest coach stops may be several kilometres away from the retreat → require walking, taxi, rideshare, or arranged pick-up.

*Note: Local public bus stops are limited, and schedules vary; checking Moovit/PTV live info for Winchelsea/Deans Marsh before travel is recommended
